What Claim Radar does

  1. Finds the claim

Search recent news by keyword, country, category and date, or paste a link someone sent you.

  2. Gathers what is already known

Other coverage of the same story and earlier published fact-checks, each with its link.

  3. Shows where sources agree and differ

Each point cites the sources it comes from, with suggestions for what to verify next.

What you get in the result

  • What the article claims

Two or three sentences on what the story says.

  • Other coverage

Related stories from news and web search and Veruno’s archive, numbered, with outlet, date and link.

  • Earlier fact-checks

Published fact-checks that match the claim, with the publisher and its rating.

  • Source signals and next steps

The publishing site’s registry record, and suggestions for what to verify next, marked as suggestions.

What Claim Radar can’t do

Limits

  • News, not social feeds. Search covers news and the web. It does not read posts on social platforms or messaging apps.
  • Only what was retrieved. Every point must cite a retrieved source; points that can’t are dropped. If a source isn’t available, the section says so.
  • Fact-checks only if published. A claim nobody has checked yet will show no earlier fact-checks.
  • No true-or-false label. The report never says whether a claim holds up. That call stays with you.
