Know who is behind a source before you quote it.

See a website’s registry record and lookalike names, or compare a social profile with patterns of automated accounts.

What Verify Source does

  1. Reads the registry record

When the domain was registered, the registrar, expiry, last change, status and name servers, each with its source.

  2. Spots lookalike names

Checks whether the name is a near-copy of a well-known news domain.

  3. Reads a social profile with you

Paste an X or Instagram link and note what the profile shows; Veruno lists the signals often seen in automated accounts.

What you get in the result

  • Signal rows

One fact per row, with where it came from and what it means.

  • A neutral status

Typical range, worth a closer look, or not available. Never fake, reliable or bot.

  • Profile signals

Grouped into signals often seen in automated accounts and signals typical of a person-run account.

  • The profile photo

Optionally checked with Geo Lens: where else it appears, and signs of AI generation.

What Verify Source can’t do

Limits

  • Registries hide a lot. Many registries don’t publish the owner. Anything not published is shown as not available, never guessed.
  • Age is not trust. A new domain is not necessarily unreliable, and an old one is not necessarily trustworthy.
  • You read the profile. Veruno doesn’t fetch social profiles; the signals come from what you note from the profile page.
  • Two platforms for now. X profiles and Instagram Business or Creator accounts. Others are not supported yet.
